  • Aims

    This full time one year course provides students with a greater understanding and knowledge of the Sport and Leisure Industry. The course consists of both practical skills and knowledge required to seek employment or to continue their studies in the area of Sport and Leisure.
    Practical classes including swimming and life guarding, Gaelic football coaching, soccer coaching, circuit training and exercise to music instruction as well as resistance training and fitness assessment instruction. Attendance and participation in practical classes is essential.

    Maximum number of 25 students accepted on this course. Final selection subject to interview and Garda Vetting.

    Entry Requirements

    Candidates should be of Leaving Cert standard or equivalent with a strong interest in working in the Sport and Leisure industry. Final selection is subject to interview and Garda Vetting.
