Performing Arts Students Present Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
On Thursday 28th January 2010, MBC's Performing Arts course staged a colourful version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at Tuar Ard Theatre, Moate. The matinee performance was performed to an appreciative audience from the local national school, while a second performance was then staged for students of the Business College.

New Bus route between Birr and Moate Business College
The following is the bus route being run by West Offaly Community Transport between Birr and Moate Business College.
This bus will operate to college timetables and has a daily charge of €8. Booking is essential. Please contact Sarah Kennedy, Transport Co-ordinator on 057 91 51622 for further details/booking.

Niall Mellon Township Trust
Two teachers from Moate Business College, Bernie Murtagh and Aileen Martin recently joined 1000 other volunteers to help build houses for the occupants of the townships in Cape Town, South Africa. To view a gallery of images taken during the building blitz click here
