Tourism and Travel Excursions 2008
Moate Business College Diploma in Travel and Tourism students, accompanied by teachers Jean Bermingham and Sandra Kelly, recently visited the Slieve Russell Hotel in Co Cavan. There they were greeted by Ms Una McKeon, Personnel Manager of the Slieve Russell, who gave the group an excellent guided tour of the hotel and of its fabulous facilities.

Students then crossed the border into Co Fermanagh to visit the spectacular Marble Arch Caves. The caves are considered to be one of Europe's finest showcaves. Our guide Leanne gave us a memorable, educational and entertaining guided tour through a fascinating natural underworld of rivers, waterfalls, and spectacular cave formations. Students were particularly impressed by our boat trip on one of the underground rivers.
